Why you get a written price first

No two houses run the same. The rates below are where each service starts, and the honest number depends on your vent count, your system, and how easy the work is to reach. Kealey's Duct and Dryer Cleaning quotes every job in writing after a short phone call, before anything gets booked. If we find something on site the call missed, we stop and talk to you before doing anything about it.

What each service starts at

Starting rates for a standard residential job. Your written quote may land higher depending on the four things listed further down this page.

What moves the number?

Four things, and they are the same four questions you will get asked on the phone.

How many vents you have

For duct cleaning, the count of supply and return vents in the house is the single biggest driver. A rough number over the phone is enough to get you close.

How the system is laid out

One furnace and one set of trunk lines is straightforward. Two systems, a heat pump, or a finished basement with its own zone all take longer to set up and clean properly.

Where the dryer line runs and exits

A short run out a side wall is quick. Twenty feet through joist bays with four elbows is not, and a roof termination means going up there. Those are different jobs.

What is actually in there

A recent renovation, pets, or a system nobody has touched in fifteen years all add time. So does anything damaged. If we find a crushed section or a duct that needs replacing, that gets quoted separately and never added quietly.

What holds whichever service you book

This industry earned its reputation the hard way, with cheap coupons and numbers that climb once the crew is already in the basement. Four promises keep us on the other side of that.

No-Surprise Pricing

The quote is the final price. If we open things up and find a problem the phone call missed, work stops and you decide before we go any further. Nobody gets handed a bigger invoice at the door.

No-Pressure Policy

Honest advice even when it costs us the job. If your ducts are already clean we will show you the photos that prove it, and plenty of phone calls end with a fix you can do yourself.

No-Mess Promise

The system stays sealed to our equipment while we work. We put protection down, move what needs moving, and put it back. Customers write that the room was cleaner when we left than when we arrived.

Same day response

Call or send the form and you hear back the same day, usually within a couple of hours. Brian and Keenan answer their own phone.

"Brian & Keenan were at my house recently to clear my dryer vent and replace the covering. They were flexible with scheduling, prompt, explained everything, did not leave a trace of a mess, were kind & thorough. Reasonable pricing as well! I highly recommend Kealey's and I will certainly hire them for my future needs."

"Without a doubt this is the best company I've ever dealt with in my very long life. They have a lot of integrity and bend over backwards to accommodate you. They get back to you right away when you contact them and believe me I've contacted them plenty, even on a Sunday."

Questions about pricing

More on the work itself is on the services page and the FAQ page.

Call (978) 961-4513 or send the form. Tell us roughly how many vents you have, where the dryer sits and where the line exits, and what made you call. That is usually enough for a written number in the same conversation.

No to both. There is no charge to get a price and nothing to pay to hold a spot on the calendar.

The quoted price does not move for the work you agreed to. What can come up is something the phone call could not see, like a crushed duct or a broken exterior flap. In that case we stop, show you the problem, and quote the repair separately. You decide before we touch it.

Because a colonial with one furnace and eight vents and a newer build with two systems and twenty-two vents are not the same job, and charging both the same means one of you is overpaying. The starting rate is the floor. The written quote is the real number.

That happens more than you would expect, and it costs you nothing. A "check vent" light on a newer dryer sends plenty of people looking for a service call when the line just needs a look. If Brian can talk you through it, he will.

We work across Essex County MA, Rockingham County NH and parts of York County ME from our base in Salisbury. The full list is on the service area page, and if your town is not named it is still worth asking.
